There are dozens of verses in the Bible that say money can be either good or bad - not our affection for money, but the money itself. Is the dollar a good money, or a bad money?

As a fiat monetary system, the dollar is actually a horrible form of money. The dollar - and the handful of elite bankers that control it - is arguably responsible for much of the poverty and suffering around the globe. For example, the 'forever wars' that have plagued the US for nearly 100 years is a direct consequence of using fiat money. Ron Paul famously declared: "It is no coincidence that the bloodiest century in human history was the century of fiat money."

Not only has fiat money permitted forever wars, it is responsible for the growing divide between the have-nots and the have-yachts. For the first time is US history, the top 1% now own more wealth than the entire middle class.

Fiat money printing is also the reason for inflation and rising prices. At 2% inflation, your savings will lose half its purchasing power in about 35 years (that is, the price of everything will double). And we all know that inflation is waay more than 2%, given that prices for most things have doubled in the last 10 years.
