Imagine it's 1995. Just a few years ago, Tim Berners-Lee created something called the world wide web. Few people know what it is, even fewer are using it.
Fast-forward to today. Billions of people use the internet every day - as you are right now! Indeed, it's nearly impossible to live without it anymore.
Bitcoin today is the internet in 1995. Roughly the same number of people are using Bitcoin today as those who were using the web in the 1990's. But in just a few years, the odds are more than good that everyone will be using Bitcoin. To know why, you have to understand the fundamentals and principles on which Bitcoin is built, and the fatal flaws of our current monetary system.
